At Professional Hearing Care & Audiology, we understand that successful hearing healthcare is an ongoing process. Our practice has always offered in-home hearing care appointments and in 2009, we expanded these services to include On-Site Concierge Hearing Healthcare Services. We offer this service to many of our assisted living partners who understand the importance of addressing their residents’ hearing health and its impact on their living safely and independently.
Our process is a simple one…
Full complement of resident hearing services, including evaluations, repairs and all ancillary services brought to the Assisted Living Community and coordinated with Wellness and Resident Care Directors.
Communication with families who are unable to attend appointments to address questions and concerns, including insurance benefits.
Regularly scheduled on-site hours for residents to ensure consistent and on-going management of hearing healthcare. This includes otoscopic examination for earwax and cleaning/checking and adjustment of hearing instruments.
Staff training on Signs & Symptoms of hearing loss and Care & Management of Hearing Instruments.
Educational workshops for residents and their families on the importance of hearing healthcare and its association with depression, increased falls and dementia/Alzheimer’s disease.
